Les Coquecigrues

From January 20 to March 24, 2013, in Ille-et-Vilaine, Morbihan and Loire-Atlantique

Special events in special places: the Coquecigrues festival will brighten up your Sundays between January 20 and March 24, 2013, in the Rennes, Vannes and Nantes areas.

No more boring winter Sundays! The Coquecigrues festival stages events every Sunday for children aged two and upwards, in unusual or prestige venues. The programme includes a guided tour of the venue at 3pm, shows for children aged 7 and over at 4pm, shows for children aged between 2 and 7 at 4pm and 5.10pm, followed by tea for everyone!
So what is a coquecigrue anyway? It’s an imaginary bird, invented by Rabelais in Gargantua. Fabulous creatures and fantasy worlds, that’s the Coquecigrues universe!
